Cosplay fighting

Just back from AB and went to a panel in whic Chris Ayers instructed us on cosplay fighting for skits , It was all non-weapon use and very educational. Anyone who wants to do skits involving action/ fights should definately look into it it's safe and no damage should come to the participants.
Anyway this is just one panel I would vote for

I actually had an idea...

If I ever did a soul Reaper cosplay I'd have a Zanpaku-to, and I aready have the sequence down in wush a way as to draw no blood, but still have the enemy "bleed", and "release" my Zanpaku-to with an awesome effect! XD

I've taken a class on stage fighting while in a theater workshop in high school and it was brilliant!

Would totally go to a panel like this! ^_^

I train and play fight with my cousens all the ime (they're like 7-8 yrs olld) so I know how to fight without hurting anyone, and I'd love to do this, but I don't know if the hotel will let us

What about an Iron Cosplay? Were you make a team, pick a model, and basically get a box full of house hold items to make a costume with. The special would be some random thing that had to be used in the costume (last time I played it was AOL cds that come in the mail).......and each team pulls from a hat what they have to make out of all the stuff they had. Themes like "Samurai" and "Magical Girl" and the like.....etc....

The box would have items like tape, shoe laces, pastic cups, bags, wrapping paper (like XMAS printed to be ever funnier!) bubble wrap....etc....etc....

But no thread or cloth.

It is seriously a lot of fun.
