Yes the Anime Dating Game is making a return. Our Hostess will be doing it again. (Despite whether she loses her voice or not I'm sure.) It was a highlight of last year and a lot of people are looking forward to the return.

But that still doesn't answer the question of how I sign up...There's no form for it, so I'm at a loss of how to sign up...and what day it's on...I won't be able to make it friday...so if it's on the weekend...that would work out fine for me *nods* Cause I'm planning on being there for the weekend *nods*

But yeah...I'd be cosplaying as Reno Sinclair from Final Fantasy VII *grins*...I've been working on getting the outfit ready for a while...so I'm hoping to be ready for the convention...I can get the shirt and jacket easily...I'm going to have trouble getting his EMR though...but we'll see what happens >>

Well i'm new to the Bakuretsu Con as of this year. What exactly is the Anime Dating Game might I ask?

The anime dating game is like the old dating game that was on TV. It's all for show though, we aren't seriously sending someone out on a date with a stranger or anything.

It's a lot of fun to watch and was the most popular event last year.

What usually happens (using you as an example) you would be one of the bachelors and lets say Sakura from Naruto was the bachelorette....you: would you bear my children? Sakura: only if you are Sasuke....and it goes on from there.

There is usually a bachelor round and a bachelorette round. Last year it got pretty out of hand.

As for which day it is am not sure yet. We are still working out the schedule. We will have a sign up form up on the website soon though.

Well, the only reason I'm Miroku, is when I joined the forums I was watching Inuyasha and Miroku was the first name to pop into my head. But I'm going as Sado "Chad" Yasutora from Bleach to this year's Bakuretsu Con.

That should be fun. My roommate and I are watching Bleach as it comes out on DVD. I have watched it all up to the really stupid Naruto-ish fillers. I would love to cosplay as Kenpachi one day....he is my favorite character but I don't think it will ever happen. It will be nice to see you there as Chad. Are you doing his arm or just going with his normal self?

Colorful remarks (but still pg13) and hilarity to ensue. If you want to witness the craziness of last year all over again with all new characters, come on down. Welcome to the 1st Annual Yaoi/Yuri Dating Game. (This event will be 18+ only) Watch as one lucky bachelorette and one lucky bachelor choose amongst 3 of characters of the same gender for a special date. Colorful remarks and hilarity to ensue. If you want to witness the craziness of last year all over again with all new characters and even more smexyness, come on down. If you want to participate and you are over 18, please read the short list of rules, fill out the form below and e-mail it to yennidaklutz@yahoo.com


The rules (may change pending the Con Chair's approval):

1. You must submit all information at once, updates and changes will be handled on a case by case basis

2. THIS IS NOT FIRST COME FIRST SERVE

3. You must be over 18 to participate in the Yaoi/Yuri Dating Game

4. You do not have to make the costume yourself, but we would prefer if you did (commissioned is fine too).

5. Please include pictures of both your character in his/her Anime/Game in the outfit you are planning to use as well as your costume if possible, if not explain why. Submissions without any pictures will be placed a the bottom of the pile.

6. This main show will be pg13 please make sure you will be able to hold yourself with the proper composure so that we do not need to use censored signs again. The Yaoi/Yuri game is 18+ and can only be attended by those over than 18.

7. Priority will be given to those who have more experience in acting/improv

8. Having a well designed costume is extremely important

9. Must Be Available Saturday for Preparation!!!

10. All Con rules must be followed

11. Staff have final say on who does or does not get to perform, if you can not show up to practice on Saturday you will be replaced. If you're costume is deemed to not identify your character well enough you will be replaced. If you do not seem to have the needed level of improv/acting ability you may be replaced (granted if you have any this probably wont be a problem). If you do not have good enough chemistry with the others who will be on stage with you, you may be replaced.
