Well, they all did except Patton and we replaced him with Spike Spencer (at great expense I might add) so I feel like that wasn't as much of a cancellation as it was a "swap" per say.

It still sucked I will admit. I can't apologize enough to people about that happening. But at the same time there was absolutely nothing we could do about it either (aside for getting Spike). We tried to contact him and ADV for information and everyone was out at other cons.

If Iwecould have found a way to bring him we would have. We were willing to buy him a new plane ticket but he didn't call us back and we only had his e-mail contact.

It happens to cons all the time. We've been lucky. We've only ever had two cancellations and one was because the person was in a life or death situation. Quite excusable if you ask me.

Oh, I didn't know that... I have some very reliable contacts that could have put you in touch with him, but I guess they wouldn't have been necessary anyway given that you had already lined up Spike Spencer by the time I got there on Thursday.

We at Bakuretsu Con would rather our guests alive and very healthy and very hugable than not feeling too hot. As per this year, you know we will send them off to rest with lots of medicines and maybe in comming years, I'll be prepared with chicken soup. Just to be helpful, y'know?

And yes, we would have paid the difference for Chris to make the next flight but he didn't give us any way to contact him...

I never even thought to ask you Patrick, but then again the fact that you weren't there yet might have had something to do with it.
