AMVs
I haven't made a video in a while, but since BC is timed very well, I may just have one or two done in time to compete. I was wondering how the contest is. Is it a full contest or a showing? What is well-liked? I've known some cons to be all about the action, while others are just there waiting for the comedy category. Some are Naruto-friendly, others are sick of seeing it.
So I'm not only asking what's been liked, but what people would like to see.
(Why do I having a feeling you're gonna be all over this, dokool? XD)

*grin* Last year's Bakuretsucon was okay - there were a few decent entries, but a lot of pure shit. Hopefully things will be better this year.
I should have definitely one video ready (this would be the one I sold at Bakuretsucon's charity auction last year), possibly 2, and maybe even 3.
Well after last year I can say we have had our fill of Naruto.
Comedy always goes over well. A lot of our past fan favorites have been comedy. Drama does well too if it's a good vid. The FMA video from last year was great (and it inspired me to watch FMA.... now I'm an FMA crack addict, it's actually playing in the background right now).
I would say we really fall short on the Romance videos. I would like to see more of those.
The contest is up and running right now and the info can be found on the main page. I'll start a space place for the AMV contest so people can ask questions.

Urg... PLEASE for the LOVE OF ALL ANIME FANS OUT THIER!! No more Naruto to Linkin Park!!!
Action is another catagory that people seem to like.
Drama/romance.. kind of a hit or miss alot of the times. But what would a AMV contest be without a drama or romance AMV.

Far less depressing *rimshot*
.........rimshot................
*scratchs head in wonderment*
I would say Drama is usealy depressing.. the Romance is not nearly as depressing, and can even be happy. Thou... some people idea of Romance seem to be always showing a love ones body hitting the ground.....

Rimshots: for when "*ba-dum-CHING*" takes too long to type out.
Drama is usually depressing to me as an editor, because despite how easy it is to make a drama video, most of them suck. The same more or less goes for romance.

Do you guys allow proxies?
AKA if my friend from Connecticut can't make it, can one of our friends accept it on her behalf? Apologies if this was in the rules and I missed it.
