Heylo^2!

Postby Sigma » Mon Sep 01, 2008 8:22 pm

Shoutouts to ElderOfNar because he is the man. <33 (btw Curtis, this is Masta) =)

But yeah, I was playing DDR with Andrew last year and got second place to him, because no one beats that beast. <33

I hope that this year we can have another fun weekend of gaming, and I get to meet some of the people I met there last year.

Also, no soft pads please and please use a DDR JP mix, though I'll probably end up bringing my own stuff, along with Andrew bringing his stuff anyway, like last year.

Soft pads are unfortunely all the con owns. we were very lucky last year that some fans brought thier hard pads in (a thousand thanks goes out to them!!).

I kinda blew the video gaming budget this year on getting a PS3 and a few games for the con :(

gg

Well, assuming that you encourage a little help in the gaming room, I'm going to try to bring two industrial metal pads that are pretty close to arcade conditions. You can connect them together so you can play doubles and the pads won't shuffle all over the place and stuff. Been playing on these same pads for about 8 months and I actually never get a pad error on them.

Sounds very cool :) I know everyone really enjoyed the hardpads last year.

Even though they were slippery without shoes on, they were awesome.
Last year I volunteered some time in the game room and helped set up DDR, I went to play and was wearing socks but no shoes. It was so funny but pretty embarrassing too, I went to step on the mirror-esk looking mat and slid right off. I don't think anyone saw, but it was really funny. *Smiles* So, whoever brought them last year, you made the con even more awesome for even just me. But I know other people also had way more because of the metal mats. So, Thank you!
