I am a little confused. Who is this "we" that chose anime to show last year. And I don't understand the comment about to scheduled. It's always scheduled.
I also don't understand "not having a choice". There were two rooms so you always had a choice. It's the same number of rooms we had last year for video. The only difference is that last year we had a club room where you could hang out in with a TV. So I guess you could chose some stuff on your own, but that can easily be done at home or in your room.
If we didn't show things you were interested in you need to make suggestions on the forum. We try to choose a varied selection of things to cover all aspects of the fandom.
Although our new home is much larger they have less seperate rooms. There are only 6 conference rooms total where we were using 4 rooms at the BW plus 4 suite rooms for a total of 8. Space becomes an issue at this point so the club room sadly had to go (not by choice).
On a side note, this section is for descussion specific series not the con. For con related business please post in the Video Screenings thread. (which is why I moved this)
