Yeah! I loved the idea of iron cosplay. But it seems like it'd be complicated. I mean... would it be done with random items? Actual cloth? How much sewing would be involved? How much hotmelt glue/fabric glue? would we require a waiver/entry fee; would it have it's own compititon, or just a catagory in the normal cosplay? Would we have guest stars?
Maybe I need to watch more cable.

There probably would have to be an entry fee, so that there is at least a baseline of materials available for anyone who wanted to enter. I would suggest construction paper, some sturdy glue, safety pins, bottom-of-the-barrel cheap fabric and thread, elbow macaroni and glitter, and garbage bags.

I'm not sure what one would do with the macaroni either....
Acrylic paint, I'd say. It drys fast and you can do all sorts of things with it.

I was thinking, it was really helpful when I went to the panel for first time con-goers, or maybe even first time small con goers. so I think it'd be a good idea to run that again. I'd be willing to help for that, since I have the experience of being a first timer fresh in my mind.

Sorry for the double post, but this place died down anyways. I know that the idea was passed around about an Iron Chef Cosplay last year, but I had a different idea when I was thinking about that. What about Iron Chef Bento/ How to do a Bento? I'd definately check either of those out.

That's what a bento looks like, they're what the Japanese bring for lunch, and their preperation is taken very seriously.
