Cosplay Rules
Costumes must be handmade and from an anime, manga, or video game.
If your cosplay includes music, it must be send ahead of time and you must bring a back up the day of the cosplay.
All contestants must check in before the cosplay on Saturday. If you do not, you will not be allowed on stage.
Check in will take place between opening Saturday and two hours before the cosplay.
No real weapons are allowed. Plastic ones are fine but you must have them tagged when you check.
No explosives, fireworks, guns, projectile weapons, swords, or anything that might get us killed, literally…
Please bring a picture of your character with you to the con. Have it at your check in.
All sign ups must be in before noon on Friday.
If you are under 16 you must have an adult fill out a waiver. Please present it when you check in.

The content of your skit to a PG level, this means no nudity, swearing, etc. If you can’t show your parents, then you can’t show us.
Contestants will be presented to the judges ahead of time. This lets them get a close look at your work.
Awards will be given for craftsmanship, judge’s choice, presentation, best overall skit, and best walk on. All of these awards are given in both categories of novice and advance.
If it comes onto the stage with you then it leaves with you.
Walk-ons have one minute max and skits have three. Don’t go over, other people need a chance to show their work too.
The Cosplay Coordinator has final say in all circumstances and may change the rules at any time if necessary.
